What's Been Happening

We've had a lot going on since I last posted.

Clifford came back for another visit.

I was SUPER thrilled about it but thankfully, C was scheduled to go to my parent's house the next day so I let them deal with making sure Clifford was happy.

Turns out Clifford wasn't as sad as the last time and had a good weekend.

They played in the "cave" and pretended to be sleeping bears.

And on Sunday, they took a ride in Pap's jeep down to the creek.

They got to have a picnic and throw rocks in the creek.

It was a huge relief not to have to worry about the well being of a stuffed animal.  That thing is way to much pressure.

Saturday while C was playing bears at my parent's, Brent and I took my dad's jeep out for a little country cruising.

The weather was perfect and we had so much fun riding around.

C has upped her entertainment level these days.  We were just hanging out one day playing babies when all of a sudden she stuck a baby under her shirt and said 'look Mama.'

She then proceed to tell me that she was about to have a baby and that the doctor was going to help her pull it out.  Dude!  I DIED!  How on earth does she know this stuff?

This past weekend, C had her spring dance recital.

She has been looking forward to this for months.  As shy as my child is, she LOVES being on "the big stage."

The girls coloring before show time.

This is our class minus 1.  These girls are so sweet and we've had so much fun with them this past year.

We weren't in the same class this time around as her friend Lucie but they were able to be backstage together.

Both girls are so funny and talk about each other a lot but when they get around each other, they can't seem to talk.  They just stare at each other and smile.

The girls did such a great job and danced their little hearts out!

I got really emotional this time around for some reason.  She just seemed so big and I felt like before long she is going to be dancing for the last time as a Senior.  Whew!  I've got to pull it together.

After her recital we had some time to kill before dinner so we took a trip to Dick's Sporting Goods.

C got a little workout while we were there.

Santa needs to bring her one of these little guys!  She could have played with that all day!  Who knew a sporting goods store could be so much fun.
