9 Months

Uryah Bayles is 9 months!

Uryah weighs 25.5lbs (99 percentile), wears 18 month clothes and size 5 diaper.

He has his bottom front two teeth, can pull himself up and loves standing propped up.  He can say dada, mama and huh.  At his check up, the doctor asked if he was crawling.  When we told her no, she said, 'well we see that a lot in our larger babies.  They just have more weight to have move around.'  Ya don't say.  He will have to get used to packing around extra weight because he LOVES him some food.

I told Brent tonight that I knew a boy would eat me out of house and home but I expected it at 16 not 9 months!  He eats almost as much as I do.  He gets a whole packet of oatmeal for breakfast.  For lunch, he has started eating whatever they are having at school.  Then at night he will eat what we are having.  We still haven't found anything he won't eat.  He also still takes 4 8 ounce bottles a day.

We have figured out besides the bath,

outside is his next favorite place to be.

We've spent a lot of time outside the last few days and he is just happy as can be.  We will put him in his swing beside C and he won't make a sound or move until we get him out.  This information has been vital the last week or so.  U has been pretty fussy for some reason but the minute we get him outside, he is a calm, happy baby.

U is starting to show us he is going to be a true boy by destroying anything he can get his hands on.  We've learned liquids or nothing of value can be placed within arms reach or you can bet his hands will find it.  The other morning, B made the rookie mistake of putting his coffee in front of him while getting C her food. Thankfully, it only spilled on the table and floor and missed U completely.  Unfortunately though, we were in public and had to move tables so we were quite the show.  I'm thinking eating out is going to be put on hold until he is a little older.  Between us constantly moving things out of his reach and him being super loud while he eats, it's just too much.  I know he is just a baby but we are THOSE annoying people that you hate sitting next to at restaurants.  It's the season we are in and I know it won't last long so instead of exhausting ourselves, we will hit up the drive thru and make our mess at home.  :)

He is such a cutie patootie! I love reading your monthly posts since our babes are so close in age. Amelia isn't crawling either, but boy does she want to! One of these days we HAVE to let these two play!
