I will take my cue from Phil Robertson and say that last week was happy, happy, happy.
Wednesday, my brother and sister in law flew in for a long weekend. We haven't seen them in person since Christmas and we were super excited!
C spent the night with my parents on Wednesday and spent the day with everyone on Thursday while Brent and I worked. She got lots of one on one.
She spent the afternoon with my mom and Leslie getting pedicures and ice cream.
That night after work, my whole family (grandmothers, aunts, uncles and cousins) got together to have dinner.
Someone was a little smitten.
Friday, I took the day off to so C and I could spend the day with Mo and Leslie. Brent had to close that night but we were all able to go to lunch before he had to go to work.
After lunch, we made the trip up to Jackson's Orchard but sadly, it started pouring the minute we got there. We thought it might blow over so we ducked inside to look around the shop and watch the workers sort the apples.
The rain continued and there was no sign of clearing up. We decided to go with Plan B...the park. Oddly enough, it wasn't raining on that side of town.
They ended up spending the rest of the night with us as well and we enjoyed just hanging out and watching movies.
Saturday, we all had separate weddings to go to.
C was so good and we had lots of fun!
Sunday, was a major chill day. It rained most of the day and it was perfect to sit around watching football and doing crafts.
I had a project to do for an upcoming baby shower and Leslie jumped right in to help me. I loved getting to spend the one on one with her and she was a MAJOR help. What I thought was going to take me a couple of days, ended up taking us a couple hours.
Our last night together, us "kids" went to Mellow Mushroom for football and pizza. It was the best way to end our time together.
The rest of the week has been a blur because C had caught whatever crazy funk is going around and I was out of town for 2 days for work. Some how we have managed to survive the week and we are SO glad the weekend is just a moment away.
