8 Months

Uryah Bayles is 8 months old!

Out of the two of us, he is the only one happy about it.

He is weighing in at 25 lbs, wears mostly 18 months clothes (there are times we can still squeeze into 12 months) and a size 4 diaper. 

He eats a jar of baby cereal for breakfast, a fruit and veggie for lunch and eats whatever we are having for dinner.  He will eat anything but corn, mac n cheese, carrots and any kind of meat are some of his favorites.  He is also still taking 4-8oz bottles a day.

It's pure joy when he sees food and if its not in his mouth within .002 seconds, he is going to tell you about it.

He doesn't have many new tricks.  He will stand on his little chubby legs for a few minutes but he is pretty content sitting on the floor playing, especially if Sister will join in.

Of course if Sister is playing, you better be prepared to play dolls.

 The other thing he has gotten good at, is his duck face.  I'm not sure where this came from because I can promise you, none of us do it.

He does it randomly but it is the funniest thing.

His "talking" is at an all time high.  He constantly jabbers, blows air between his lips and shouts dada ALL DAY.  B finds thinks its hilarious and wonders why I get so annoyed.  I told him to birth a 9 pound baby and to let me know how he feels when it constantly says mama.  The only consolation is besides C, Uryah only loves and kisses on me.  Eat that Dada. 

Uryah takes two 2 hour naps a day and sleeps at least 12 hours a night.  The past few nights, those 12 hours have been a little restless but I noticed this morning he has a tooth breaking through and I'm pretty sure another one on the way!

In four short months we will be celebrating his first birthday.  It's crazy to think about but we couldn't imagine life without him.
