Family Time

Last week, we got a much needed visit from my brother and sister-in-law.  We've not seen them in person since Uryah was born and with their baby on the way, we had to get in some face time before they are unable to travel.

Knowing that this would be their last visit until after the baby is born, I HAD to throw them a shower.  ;)  My aunt and a family friend help me pull it off and we had a wonderful time celebrating Baby Mayeur.

I went with a tribal theme because it was different and I knew I could make most of the decorations as well as gather things from my house.

Mo (my brother) and Leslie got lots of adorable goodies and my nephew is going to be one stylish baby.

C passed out before we could even get out of my parent's neighborhood.

Saturday, my mom, Leslie, the kids and I went to a car/craft show on the square in Franklin.

It was a nice day to be out and about looking at all the different booths.  C was over it within 2 seconds of arriving but found a bouncy house and a coloring booth so for 10 minutes we didn't have to hear, 'are we done yet?'

We hit up DQ for some lunch and ice cream.  C displaying Sharing Is Caring.

We dropped my mom and SIL off just in time to head to one of C's BF's birthday party.

To our surprise, some of her old daycare buddies were there and she had the time of her life!

We miss them so much and are always happy to see them.

Sunday, after church, we went to Just Piddlin' Farm for some playtime and pumpkin time.

C LOVES the corn pit and could play in it all day long.  U on the other hand, smiled for one second and then cried.

He was content chilling in the stroller playing with a pumpkin.

C was less an thrilled (#shegetitfromherdaddy) so I'm making her go back and taking more.

Sunday night, we had dinner with my mom's side of the family to celebrated my Nanny's birthday.

Nanny is all about her greats but sometimes they aren't all about her. 

U's like, 'mmm, why is she so cray cray?'

And on our last night all together, C had a big audience at gym.

She was in heaven!  We all ate dinner together then watched a little Monday Night Football before we had to say our final goodbyes.  It's always hard saying goodbye because we never know when we are going to see them again.  I have a feeling it is only going to get harder once Baby Mayeur arrives.
