Another school year came quickly for us.
For most of the summer, C told everyone she was not ready to go back to school but in the last week, she had a change of heart.

We started the school year not knowing who her teacher is. Apparently, the teacher who was assigned to that class, quit the week before school and they were in the processing of getting another one approved. Only us.
C hasn't skipped a beat though.
She has 5 friends from her kindergarten class in her new class and an old friend from daycare. And the interim teacher kept referring the the new teacher as "she" which C caught on to real quick because the only thing she said to me about the whole deal was, 'mama, Ms. Mayo keeps saying she, which means I'll have a girl teacher this year! Yay! I'm so excited!'
I died. Her kindergarten teacher was male and even though C loved him and he was an amazing teacher, she didn't want another male teacher. Ha.
We're praying the new teacher is just as amazing as her kinder teacher and the C and her mesh well together. According to C, the new teacher should arrive this week so fingers crossed.
