Today has been the best Easter despite the weather! We were able to make it out the door to church without me having to finish getting dressed in the car! The service was one of the best yet and it was a wonderful start to our day.
The Easter bunny came to see Cecilia last night and left her a few goodies...
She was very excited and loved digging into her bucket!

Her biggest score was a bubble gun that streams a 1000 bubbles in her face at one time.
Girlfriend LOVES bubbles!
She even allowed us to take a few pictures with her without much of a fuss.
After her and I took a much needed 2 hour nap (again always makes for a good day), Nanny and Momoi came over. We were supposed to have an Easter egg hunt but since it has been raining since last night, we had to settle for just opening up the eggs.
Cecilia knew to take each one out of her bucket but didn't know to open them to see what was inside.
Nanny was nice enough and opened some to reveal tasty treats.
The Easter bunny even dropped off this lovely little hydrangea plant that I can't wait to plant!
We've enjoyed another low key holiday where we can enjoy each other and have fun without jumping in and out of a car. We want Cecilia to remember the fun she had and not the running around and I think today was a good start.
