Here's what I love about staycation, there is absolutely no pressure in getting up and at the day and no guilt when chores don't get done. They're just not as important as snuggling on the couch watching cartoons or staying in ones pjays until noon.
We were super lazy on Saturday morning and with the weather overcast and calling for rain, it made us even lazier. Not much got done other than toys being dragged from one room to another.
We did carve out some time to do crafts. I'm ready for fall so to hurry it along we made a few fall crafts.
Nothing much but something Cecilia could do and have fun while doing it.
She is very proud of her work.
I might have to invest in more buttons because she keeps asking to do more pictures.
Our Plan A for the day didn't work out because of the rain so Plan B was a movie.
Cecilia was really good in the movie and ate almost an entire large popcorn by herself!
On our way home, I had a few things to pick up at the mall and Cecilia got the chance to ride the carousel.
Later that night we worked on a birthday card for Brent.
And played dress up with her own clothes. Lately, she has been picking out clothes and shoes she wants to wear around the house.
This is her "work" outfit. I think we need to work on color coordination.
Today is Brent's birthday so we are doing whatever he wants but more on that later.
