Holiday at Cheekwood

Saturday, we ventured down to Cheekwood Botanical Gardens in Nashville for their Christmas event.  We've never been but it sounded like fun and it did not disappoint!

The first thing we saw was the train exhibit.

C flipped when she saw it was a Thomas train.  She was naming all the chuggers and running around watching every turn it made.  It was a pretty neat little set up.

The next stop was our main event, the live reindeer.

Somehow I got it in my head that you could feed them so C was super excited but that was not the case.  Thankfully, she didn't have a meltdown and watching them was just fine for her.

Inside one of the buildings, they had 2 different craft activities plus cookie decorating.  Naturally, my child LOVED the craft portion.

Making her Charlie Brown Christmas tree.

The cookie decorating wasn't all bad either especially since you got to eat it right away.

C was even nice enough to share a bite with me, my mom and B.

And on our way out, we had to watch Thomas the train one more time.

Cheekwood did a very nice job putting this event on and we will definitely be back.
