Having 2 kids is no joke. I used to be on it with C's monthly updates but I'm afraid Uryah's will happen when it happens. #secondchildproblems
Uryah was 8 weeks on February 25th.
Even though he doesn't look happy in these pictures, he is a really happy baby. He is just mesmerized by his sister in the background acting a fool to get him to smile.
He is weighing in at 13.15 pounds and is 24 inches long. I don't remember the exact percentiles but he was 95ish% in both. He is wearing 3-6 month clothes and size 1 diaper.
He is eating 4 ounces every 3 hours but lately at night he has been going about 6 hours which means we get a little sleep. The only down side is his 6 hours is up at 4:30am. Not a huge deal since I already get up at 5am but it makes for a rough morning for B if Uryah doesn't go right back to sleep. Needless to say caffeine is a must in our house. :)
Our only problem with U right now is drainage and/or reflux issues. It all started last Wednesday night and has been off and on ever since. He is like a ticking time bomb on when he will spew. We have to sit him upright when feeding and keep him that way after he eats just to make sure it won't come back up. The doctor didn't act like it was big deal but if it continues we will have to switch him to soy formula.
Other than that, Uryah is doing great. He even handled his shots yesterday like a boss. He cried a little when the nurse was giving him the shots but then smiled at her once it was over. This was him right before we left the doctor.
No tears and no drama. It seems boys are easier than girls because I remember C screaming her head off for HOURS after her shots. After one visit with her, I made Brent go because I could not handle it.
And he was perfectly content the rest of the night.
