Our weekend was jam packed with fun activities!
Saturday morning, we headed over to a birthday party for one of C's dance friends.
You know it's going to be a good party when you pull up and see this...
and even though it was a princess themed party and all the girls were dressed up, that didn't stop them from playing on this thing all morning! They didn't care if their skirts flew up showing off their delicates and if their feet got caught up in their dresses, they hiked them up and played on.
Not long into the party, a special visitor showed up, Elsa from Frozen! The girls flipped out!
She read them a story during snack time and then did makeup and nails when everyone was done.
Once everyone was dolled up, Elsa taught them dance moves to her song Let it Go and they performed for the moms.
They were so stinkin' cute and loved every minute of it!
C has already asked if she could live at her friend's house because I'm sure she thinks it's like that all the time!
After the party, we did a quick change, picked up my mom and headed to the square in my hometown. There was a festival of sorts going on and I wanted to visit a few shops downtown. We even got to visit a new shop in town where C scored big time on a new necklace that she got to make herself.
Naturally it was a Frozen themed necklace.
The fun didn't stop there. The three of us headed to Bowling Green for a little more shopping and then my mom and I got a rare movie date just the two of us.
We went to see God's Not Dead. Wow! If you haven' t seen it, you need to. It was a pretty awesome movie.
C got her own little date with Pap! She talked him into all her favorites. Chick-fil-a for dinner, the mall for a train ride,
M&M chocolate chip cookie,
and Barnes and Noble for reading time,
and playtime.
Her life is tough.
Sunday, we went to church then enjoyed playing outside all day until it was time to go to my Granny's for dinner. We got home just in time to put pjays on and hit the bed.
All three of us had a hard time getting up this morning and weren't very happy about it being Monday and having to function. Early bedtimes for all of us tonight.
