We had such a chill weekend that it was hard getting in gear this morning.
Friday night, I had a much needed Girls Night Out with three of my friends. We talked for 3 straight hours and it was so nice not have to entertain anyone or share my meal. :) Brent had a guys night with Uryah and C went to spend the night with my parent's.
Saturday morning, I made the executive decision that U needed to go to the doctor. He has been congested off and on for a while but on Friday night, he started coughing a lot and sounded more congested. He was diagnosed with a double ear infection (he is the same age C was when she got her first one). She put him on an antibiotic for his ears and told us to give him Benadryl every 6 hours.
She asked if he tugged at his ears or if he ever had a fever. He never had either and hasn't been fussy. The only way we ever knew C had one is she would run a fever 1 day and be fine the next. The doctor told us they must have a high tolerance of pain if they never acted like it bothered them.
Naturally, B blamed me as soon as she left since they are hereditary and I got them a lot as a child. At least U doesn't seem bothered by it.
The rest of Saturday was spent working on projects, doing no less than 100 loads of laundry and playing with U until C came home.
Sunday, after church we did a whole lot of nothing.
We played outside and did a lot of relaxing.
It was just the weekend we needed because we have something every weekend all through the month of May.
